Peking Opera Neo-Classics from Taiwan

Complete with vibrant costumes and dramatic makeup, this traditional opera unfolds on stage in three parts, featuring Maestro Bao-Chun Li, singing and dancing, Chinese kung-fu and acrobatics and more.

Farewell My Concubine
“Farewell My Concubine” is a highlight of the classical Chinese opera showcase of love, tragedy and the devotion between a king and his favored concubine during the ancient Chinese Warring Period.

The Little Cowherd
This light-hearted musical piece is about a little boy who, while tending to his herd of cows, meets a little girl from next village. Together, they dance and sing.

The Golden Falcon
“The Golden Falcon” is the tale of forbidden love between a golden falcon and an angel, who choose to continue their affair against opposition even after one is forcefully banned from heaven.
