Experience history with a haunting twist! You’ll step into the past like never before in an evening of immersive storytelling, interactive activities, and unforgettable encounters. Explore the museum at your own pace as historical figures roam the halls, ready to share their stories and secrets. Get hands-on with artifacts and games or uncover the hidden tales of Central Florida through our exhibits.
This month, we’re summoning all goblins and ghouls for a chillingly fun evening! Kick off your spooky weekend with adult-centered thrills – test your luck at eerie games (with prizes), uncover spine-tingling surprises in a scavenger hunt, and hit the dance floor to shake your tail feathers. From ghostly encounters to haunting history, this spirited night at the History Center offers something for everyone.
The evening’s schedule:
5 – 9 p.m.: During the whole event, enjoy drinks; visit the Dance Hall, the Game Room (featuring prizes from local businesses), and a tarot reader; and experience a Spooky Scavenger Hunt and Historical Hauntings (channeled by local actors).
5 & 6:30 p.m.: Docent-led museum tours.
6 & 8:30 p.m.: Mock trials in historic Courtroom B.
7:30 p.m.: Our historian, Rachel Williams, will present a program on Universal Spooky Attractions.
Tickets: Students $10; Adults $20. Tickets include admission and one drink ticket.
Advanced ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.
