Fear Monster: a creature that absorbs or transforms negative emotions, rather than being a source of them.
In this class you will create your fear monster by designing and creating our own monster from different pieces of fabric, fibers and buttons to make your monster, YOURS!! You will cut and shape your pieces together and then I will sew your pieces. Then you will stuff your monster and then I will sew your monster together.
This is not a sewing class. This is just a fun class to create your own fear monster.
This is open to all ages. Even adults!!

~The monster's main role is to protect the child from fear, acting as a guardian against scary monsters, bad dreams, or feelings of anxiety.
~The monster's primary ability is to absorb the child's fear, either physically or metaphorically. It might draw the fear into its own body, leaving the child feeling lighter and calmer.
~Alternatively, the monster could transform the fear into something positive, like courage or excitement. It might take the scary feeling and turn it into a feeling of adventure or curiosity.
