SCERA Chamber Singers is a premier auditioned adult chamber choir dedicated to musical excellence, artistic expression and main stage concerts and performing opportunities, including a Southern Utah tour in May 2026. Our close-knit ensemble brings together passionate, skilled singers to share the transformative power of choral music. Whether performing classical masterpieces, contemporary works, popular favorites, or hidden gems, we strive to inspire, connect, and uplift audiences both within our community and beyond. If you are accepted into the group, you will be sent a private link to register and pay.
Under the direction of Miriam Burton, SCERA Chamber Singers is a 10-month commitment from August 2025 through May 2026.
Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm with additional commitments for concerts, dress rehearsals and tour | A detailed scheduled will be provided
TUITION: $100 per semester (Aug-Dec 2025 & Jan-May 2026) | Due at the beginning of each semester

AUDITION INFORMATION: Walk-in auditions for the 2025–2026 season of SCERA Chamber Singers will be held on August 18, 2025 from 6:30–8:30pm in Room 201 at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State Street, Orem. If you have any questions, contact director Miriam Burton at

Auditions consist of the following:
✔️Sing one minute of a song that demonstrates the best part of your voice. The piece should be sung with accompaniment (accompanist and aux cord, please have your music cued and marked).
✔️Range check
✔️Sight read a piece with four-part harmony

OPENING SOCIAL: Interested singers are welcome to join us for an opening social on Tuesday, August 12 at 6:30pm in Room 201 at SCERA Center for the Arts. You can meet other choir members and see if SCERA Chamber Singers might be a good fit for you!
