Meeting new people isn't always easy -- If you're lucky, work connects you with lots of people, but that’s not true for many gig workers, entrepreneurs, work-from-homers, empty nesters, retirees, and other mid-lifers. This particular event is for women-seeking-men and men-seeking-women.

Speed-DATING overcomes so many common issues when it comes to meeting new people:

• Being stuck on a date with someone you're either not attracted to, or who hijacks the conversation;
• Not approaching a stranger for fear of disturbing them--who's to say they're even single, let alone interested?
• Hesitating to approach others who seem to have formed their own clique;

Mid-lifers in their 40s–60s in or near the PDX ‘burbs with a level of self-awareness who are emotionally available and ready to get to know and commit to the partner right for them.

In all the Speed-DATING I’ve done, I don't remember an event where there weren't more women than men. I saw this predicament handled different ways--some not so good! Instead of fighting it or stressing over it, I've decided to embrace it.

I've gone out of my way to create a warm, cozy, inviting, high-class vibe for this event--for everyone, but especially for you ladies.

Both Tim and I will do our best to prime the fellas to bring their A-Game for you.

And, the evening of, when you're not busy on a "mini-date," you'll have access to an exclusive Ladies' Lounge out of sight of the gentlemen and other diners where you can regroup and take a breath.

Consider the Lounge a Sanctuary where you can snag a seat on a comfy couch and put your feet up, or primp at a vanity station. You might order something from the bar, visit with other ladies, or quietly take notes on the gents you've already met and might want to meet again.
