Ok the votes are in and Orcas Island wins! I’ll put together a great route for us. While we’re there we can go hot tubbing at Doe Bay. Looks like we might be able to do whale watching from the island and even from the house.
I found us a house but we need to act fast to get it. Here are the details:
- It’s a 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin private deck overlooking West Sound where we can watch for whales.
- Three bedrooms have 1 queen bed -$466 each (1 available)
- One shared bedroom (women only) has 1 double bed (booked)
and two twin/bunk bed - $128 each
- There are a couple of living rooms so you can grab a couch for $90 (2 available)
- The amounts above are the total per room/bed for the whole weekend, not per night.
- The rental requires a 3 night stay which is reflected in the cost whether you join us for 1, 2, or 3 nights.
- Send in your share for the room/bed type you want by July 15th. 1st come, 1st served. If you send in a payment for a queen bedroom but open to a shared room, let me know. I’ll refund you the difference if only your 2nd choice is available.
- The rates are subject to change if all the rooms/beds are not booked. Or if I need to cancel this and you’ll get a refund. Otherwise it’s non-refundable but transferable.
