This dog is trying to tell his owners to STOP!!!
ALERT AND AVERT is the name of the Rattlesnake Avoidance game!
This is the final stage on the Rattlesnake avoidance course for this beautiful Golden Retriever. The dog is walking untethered to his owners, and they are all walking straight to a pile of live, double muzzled, indigenous to our area Rattlesnakes. They are mimicking a reali life scenario, walking out in their backyard, walking across a grassy park, walking on a trail, or even out your front door and to your car.
The dog is trying to stop them. I watched this video, and took a screenshot of the moments he was knocking first the man, then he went to the lady and knocked her hand, he was trying to stop them, but they kept walking.
This exercise shows that he has it - sight, sound, smell he knows to Alert and Avert/Avoid. NOW the owners are the ones that need to know and key into, and listen to the signs! THIS WILL ABSOLUTELY SAVE THEIR LIFE AND YOURS!
