In this guided workshop for Members, you’ll craft your own wooden Christmas tree-shaped decoration — plus a bonus napkin holder to complete your holiday table. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, skill-building, and Christmas spirit. No pressure, no prior experience — just support, good company, and the satisfaction of making with your hands.
Come as you are. Leave festive (and a little dusty).
What: Woodwork workshop crafting a festive wooden Christmas tree-shaped decoration with optional extra to add on a hand-crafted napkin holder.
When: Saturday 29th November & 5th December, 10:00am-2:00pm (may run overtime)
Where: The Shed – 27 Birchington Street, Beckenham
Who: Gosnells Women’s Collective Members Only
Facilitator: Trade qualified carpenter and local school workshop technician, Pauline England, will guide members, sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge about all things wood craft!
Price: GWC Members $15 includes take-home Christmas tree-shaped decoration or $20 and also make a wooden napkin holder.
Catering: Tea and coffee included. Bottled water and soft drinks $2 each. We recommend bringing your own snacks.
Parking: Free parking is available inside our main gate, along the street, or in the vacant lot beside the premises. **Please leave the top 4 bays for toy library patrons during open hours.
Other: Member induction required to participate. If you haven’t completed your induction, please arrive promptly by 9:30am to allow sufficient time to complete before the workshop commences.
