Two of Australia’s most beloved musicians, Slava and Sharon Grigoryan, invite you into their place—a deeply personal program they have handpicked to reflect their musical journey, their inspirations, and what it means to feel at home. This intimate recital is a meeting of guitar and cello, voices entwined in music that speaks of landscapes, memories, and connection.
From the rhythmic energy of Mario Laginha to the soulful elegance of Piazzolla, and from Anne Cawrse’s Grounded—a work deeply tied to the Australian experience—to the timeless beauty of Handel and the meditative serenity of Pärt, this concert is a reflection of Slava and Sharon themselves: warm, expressive, and deeply engaging.
