Let TELP help you avoid those survey deficiencies. As surveyors become stricter on the proper completion of advance care documents, it's crucial to ensure your staff is adequately trained to prevent costly mistakes.
The Tennessee End of Life Partnership (TELP) invites you to join us on Sept 12 from 8:30- 12:45 ET for a Certification in End-of-Life Care Workshop. This workshop is designed for all healthcare professionals who discuss end-of-life care with patients. During the session, you will explore the differences between the Advance Directive and the Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment (POST). Additionally, we will cover conversation techniques that more accurately determine patients' wishes.
Understanding state rules and regulations surrounding advance care planning is another essential way to avoid deficiencies. This class will cover many aspects of the Health Care Act pertaining to Advance Directives and POST.
The workshop will be hosted at Health Center at Standifer Place, 2626 Walker Rd, Chattanooga TN, 38311
Approved for 4 NAB CE hours.
A registration brochure for this workshop is attached. For more information about TELP, visit our website at endoflifecaretn.org or contact Kim Humerickhouse at
