VIDEO EDITING online course

In VIDEO EDITING course by Mirage Film Institute you will learn how to tell the story effectively with visuals and sounds. You will learn to edit Short Films YouTube videos Event videos and Wedding highlights Videos. You will understand Job opportunities and set a career path for freelance or full-time.

In this unique course you will learn the Technical capabilities and Artistic potentials of Editing. This course goes beyond the usual classes that teach only how to operate the Editing Software. This course will sharpen your editing skills and teach the art of Visual story telling.

The course is independent of software. Premier Pro and DaVinci will be used for demonstrations but you are free to use whatever software you have.

Course content:

– How to tell a story with Cuts and Transitions

– Technical foundation for Editing

– Analyzing and selecting good footage

– Key editing skills

– Reading and Interpreting the script

– Understanding Director's vision

– Titles Sub titles and Credits

– Short Film editing

– Documentary Film editing

– Wedding Highlight Video editing

– Audio and BGM mixing

– Colour correction

– Exporting to various mediums

As a part of the course you will edit 2 video projects. You will be given video footage to edit. Their output will be reviewed and improvements suggested.

ELIGIBILITY

This workshop is for you if you want to create impactful Videos. Asst. Editors Asst. Directors Film students YouTube creators and Short film makers will benefit greatly.

PERIOD

The course runs on 2 days per week for a period of 1 month. This will be followed by one month of projects to make ur showreel.
