Restoration Group 🦾 (For planting Flora and clearing spilled waste anywhere in Hyderabad location)

This event has been created with the sole purpose of working on restoring the Flora in and around Hyderabad (especially in places where it has been ruined due to some kind of calamity or construction activity in the past) voluntarily and also clearing the accumulated waste from a place to make the place look clean and aesthetic again (in its natural avatar). Currently its only meant for Hyderabad location as the admin is located in Hyderabad. However people with a similar wish are free to join this group and work voluntarily.

Please note that we can connect and work on any day of the week based on our availability and also discuss places that needs our attention.

This initiative is inspired from the simple mantra - “Be the change that you want to see in the world” because our country is one of the most beautiful places on this planet and gifted with some of the best climatic conditions and natural resources in all forms (including Flora & Fauna).

But for some reason majority of us (the local population) take it for granted and do not feel any sense of ownership towards our local environment (even though deep down we wish it was clean and green) and often leave it at the mercy of our municipal corporation. Not only that we ourselves spoil the place by throwing off our garbage anywhere and everywhere in spite of having designated spots to dispose off the waste (in the waste bins).

Now wouldn’t you all agree with the statement that “if its to be its up to me”?

To everyone who can relate to it let’s join hands and work together on this aspect by taking some time out of our schedule in a week (for just a day in a week - maybe 2 hours) and make our local environment as clean and aesthetic as we dream it to be. Thank you in advance to all the people who choose to be the member of this group and work voluntarily towards the common goal.
