Overview

This webinar will introduce attendees to the capabilities of Copilot. Participants will learn how to prepare and format data for best results with Copilot. The session will also explore Copilot’s ability to generate formulas, perform data profiling, and enhance sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting. Additionally, it will cover AI-enhanced techniques for data analysis, and demonstrate AI-powered data visualization.

By the end of this free online training you'll be able to:

  • Set up and efficiently reformat tables specifically for Copilot use, streamlining your data preparation process.
  • Accelerate the creation of complex formulas and functions, enhancing your productivity in Excel.
  • Perform basic data profiling and exploration using AI tools for a deeper understanding of your datasets.
  • Apply sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting techniques with the assistance of Copilot.
  • Create compelling and insightful graphical representations of data using Copilot’s AI-powered visualization capabilities.

Prerequisites

Due to the "modern" nature of the tools we are using, it is recommended to attend this workshop with a desktop version of Excel 365 for Windows. I CANNOT guarantee availability of these features for all versions of Excel.

  • To maximize your experience in this workshop, it's beneficial to have a working knowledge of Excel, including concepts such as IF() statements, relative and absolute cell references, and lookup functions like VLOOKUP() or XLOOKUP(). Familiarity with summarizing and visualizing data using PivotTables and PivotCharts is also recommended.
  • For information on Copilot licensing, please visit Microsoft's website. As this is a free one-hour webinar, I’m unable to provide individual support for downloads or licensing.
  • No other preparation is needed. The workshop materials will be shared with you at the time of the event.
