This online course provides a hands-on intensive overview of NSI Technologies’ StimPlan™ fracture design/analysis software with detailed examples and data files provided to participants. This course covers the essential elements of using StimPlan™ effectively including loading logs, defining geologic layering for simulations, input of fluid and proppant data, as well as performing a gridded 3-D simulation. Topics include log analysis for modulus and stress, simulation of multi-frac horizontal well, and frac-pack simulations.

StimPlan™ is a complete and integrated software solution for hydraulic fracture design, analysis and optimization. With a comprehensive integrated toolkit and the industry’s most rigorous geometry models, StimPlan™ helps operators worldwide maximize their well performance while lowering expenditure however complex their reservoir or fracture treatment design.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy: A minimum of 10 business days’ notice is required to cancel the enrollment, otherwise the tuition fee is forfeited or remains due if not already paid. Cancellation requests received 10 business-days or greater will be honored and tuition refunded.

Transfers to future sessions of participants from the same company will be permitted if notice is given within 6 business days. Substitution of participants from the same company will be permitted. Notice of substitution must be received 24 hours prior to the course start.
