Opening Reception for "The Study of One Thing: the Zen and Art of Jody Hojin Kimmel, Sensei"

Join us as we open "The Study of One Thing," featuring a large body of work - drawing, painting and ceramics - representing more than 40 years of the creative process of Jody Hojin Kimmel, Sensei. Hojin Sensei is a Dharma Teacher and Zen Priest in the Mountains and Rivers Order of Zen Buddhism at Zen Mountain Monastery and the Abbot of the Zen Center of NYC-Fire Lotus Temple. The exhibition will be a rare opportunity to experience the depth and breadth of Hojin Sensei's art practice and teaching, all in one place. The exhibition will also include the work of participants in her online and live art practice gatherings. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
