Save the Date! On July 4, 2025, Hill City Celebrations is hosting Oneonta’s beloved Hometown Fourth of July Festival and Celebration in Oneonta's beautiful Neahwa Park, offering free entertainment, activities, food vendors, craft vendors, live music, and fireworks for the whole family! Meet us on Main Street at 1 p.m. for our fabulous hometown Independence Day parade! The festival starts right after the parade in the park and runs through 11 p.m. Five Star Subaru's spectacular fireworks show will begin just after dark.

Oneonta's Hometown Fourth of July is being made possible by generous donations from many local businesses and individuals, including Five Star Subaru, LEAF, Anonymous Foundation, Anonymous Foundation, Clark Family Foundation of Delhi, the City of Oneonta, the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce, Bassett Healthcare Network, Townsquare Media Radio, the Rotary Club of Oneonta, Gates Helms Hawn, Benson Agency, Reinhardt Home Heating, Price Chopper, Hill City Celebrations board members, and many other friends and donors.
Enjoy entertainment and performances from BJ the Clown, the Hill City Ice Queen and Friends, Mike the Juggler, and more! PLUS: Face-painting, children's games, kids' activities with the Oneonta World of Learning (OWL), bounce houses, tons of food trucks, and more!
