Watu "People" Block Party, happening May 31st from 1–10pm (with a 21+ portion from 5–10pm).

Brought to you by Omaha Diversity Experience, Modus Coworking, Local Art Plug, and Dirty Birds! We're throwing an epic event on May 31st - and you're invited!

Join us for The Watu "People" Block Party - a celebration of community, culture, and all things local.

Start with a stroll down 19th Street, beginning at The Slate Apartments on Capitol Ave and ending at the Redfield Building on Howard St, highlighting the amazing businesses and residences along the way from 11am-3pm.

Then, the party begins in the Flatiron District at 1pm - music, art, food, and unforgettable vibes.

We're turning up the energy with:

DJ lineup

Drinks by Dirty Birds + African Cocktail Lounge

Local food vendors bringing the flavor

Interactive art + a photobooth to capture the moment by Luli Creative and House and Local Art Plug

Fun activities for the kiddos during the day and starting at 5PM - the party goes 21+ for an evening of grown-up fun! ($10 cover starting at 5PM)
