Interested in becoming a Support Service Provider (SSP) in Omaha?
SSPs are trained professionals who assist DeafBlind individuals with visual and environmental information, guiding, and access to their communities. This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with members of the DeafBlind community and make a real impact.
We’re hosting an in-person SSP training for individuals who are interested in joining our team in the Omaha area. This role is ideal for students, part-time workers, or anyone looking for flexible, meaningful work. Knowledge of ASL is a plus but not required (we work with a variety of consumers who have different communication needs). Deaf people are encouraged to apply as well!
✔️ SSPs have the freedom to accept or decline assignments based on their schedule
✔️ Wide availability after training is strongly preferred
✔️ A required training session will be held the Monday before the full training
