Music Reading with Mark Kurtz

Have you ever gotten lost reading printed music, or wondered what all the little extra symbols and markings meant? Would you like to improve your ability to sing along with hymns and worship songs? Or, would you just enjoy spending a few Wednesday evenings hanging out with Mark Kurtz, director of music ministries? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, this class is for you!

On the first three Wednesdays in August, the 6th, 13th, and 20th, from 6:30 to 7:15 in the choir room, Mark Kurtz will take you through the basics of what is on the page, what it means, and how you can participate with greater confidence.

Whether you have had no music training, or have had some training but still have questions, you are welcome to come! Each class will build on the previous week, but will also begin with a review of the previous week. So if you have to miss a session, no worries.

The class is free and open to any age. Hope to see you there!
