Austin Mitchell, a native of Long Island, NY, is a multi-talented artist with a specialization in singing, songwriting, drums, and keys. From a young age, Austin showcased his musical talents, starting to play drums for local churches and singing on the worship team at the age of five.
Austin's passion for music led him to audition for prestigious shows such as American Idol, The Voice, and BET's Sunday Best, where he made it to the Top 50 panel, marking his small television debut.
Recently, Austin relocated to Omaha, where he has continued to make a name for himself in the local music scene. He performs primarily with his band, "Austin Mitchell & The Crew," at notable venues such as The Omaha Lounge, Reverb Lounge, and now The Jewell on Capitol.
Austin's voice, distinguished by its unique silky tone and impressive vocal range, is deeply influenced by Gospel, R&B, and Neo-Soul. He draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Tevin Campbell, and PJ Morton.
Earlier this year, Austin released his debut single titled "Wish." He is currently working on his first EP project, which promises to showcase his diverse talents and profound musical influences. Austin Mitchell continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances and heartfelt music, establishing himself as a rising star in the industry.
