About the event

Back to School Rally
Nebraska Medicine and several community partners are teaming up to get kids ready to go back to school with free school supplies and family fun.

The Nebraska Medicine and UNMC Community Wellness Collaborative is hosting its second annual Back to School Rally on Friday, Aug. 8th from 3 to 6 p.m.

Kids who attend the event can get a free backpack and school supplies. The event is open to students in grades K-12.

There will be fun free activities like face painting and ice cream from Gimme the Scoop.

Event partners include Charles Drew Health Center, Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center, Boys Town, Omaha Public Library, Truhlsen Eye Institute and Olson Center for Women's Health.
