A farm walk for UGS members & friends to see the grass-based, cross-bred dairy herd of David Hunter comprising 112 Spring calving Holstein Friesian x Jersey x Viking Red cows producing around 7,000 litres milk at 4.65% BF & 3.71% P
The visit will look at grass utilisation; maximising days at grass & breeding cows to suit a simple system followed by a BBQ lunch
