Christy, seventeen, is forced to move in with his estranged older half-brother after being thrown out of his suburban foster home. While his brother sees the arrangement as temporary, Christy begins to feel at home on Cork's working-class Northside, making friends and reconnecting with his past through his seemingly more corrupting extended family. Determined to give Christy a better future, his brother faces tough choices that could drive a wedge between them.
