The Local's Sail at Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival

This is celebration and thank-you sail on "Local's Night" for the good people that live in Adventuress's home port of Port Townsend and vicinity. Designed to better accommodate households with a variety of income levels, we are offering tickets for this sail at half price. This helps to ensure equity for Sound Experience supporters and Adventuress lovers, regardless of their financial capability. We want everyone to have access to this extraordinary on-the-water National Historic Landmark sailing ship.

Our 3-hour sails are designed to get everybody involved, and no sailing experience is required. They are a perfect way to explore the Salish Sea and learn about our unique marine environment while sailing aboard the historic schooner Adventuress. From the moment we get under way you'll be invited to help raise the sails or take a turn at the wheel. As we navigate the Puget Sound/Salish Sea, the crew will explain it's unique marine environment and share the history of Adventuress. Then listen to a sea chantey, a talk from an on-board guest or crew member -- or just sit back and take in the whole experience.

Infants aged 0-1 are free, but must have a ticket. The US Coast Guard regulates exactly how many people are on board, including infants and young children. Make sure you have a ticket for each person in your party before boarding.
