Special Critique Group with the Washington Poet Laureate

Open to the public! Please RSVP to attend a special critique night with Derek Sheffield, Washington State Poet Laureate. Event includes a dinner (pay for yourself) and a critique night at on a special day. Any style of writing welcome, though poetry is encouraged for this particular night, and everyone can choose to attend dinner, reading, or both.

At the end of the night we will be presenting him with an engraved pen as a token of our appreciation. If willing, please consider donating $10 to cover its cost.

Timeline:
5:00-6:30 PM - Dinner at the Iron Rabbit in West Olympia (thanks to executive chef and OWG member Ryan Dailey!); dinner is at your own expense
6:30-7:00 PM - Movement to Haggen’s Grocery Store in West Olympia (usual spot)
7:00-9:00 PM - Critique night with the poet laureate. Bring poetry if you write it, but any style of writing is welcome
