Sleazy Femme Film Festival is a forum for transgressive, queer underground cinema. Maren Moreno held the inaugural fest in March 2025 to highlight the work of her favorite contemporary low budget filmmakers in Olympia and beyond. Sleazy Femme II features five fabulous short films from artists across genre, identity and style as well as performances by local rockers Nudity, The Gobs and Brute.

A short film about Sierra Cosmidis-Grove’s experience entering skateparks as a beginner skater and finding community.

A woman with an addiction to abortions struggles to make ends meet for her next fix.
Meet … Bradley Harrison Picklesimer (1988) Directed by Heather McAdams – 32 min, 16mm, color, sound
MEET…BRADLEY HARRISON PICKLESIMER is a portrait film about a Kentucky drag queen who ran his own club on Main Street in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.

About the Curator:
Maren Moreno is a femme dyke feminist filmmaker and film programmer based in Olympia, WA. Her short films “Revenge Angels” “Protection Spell” and “Leather Communion” have screened all over the world in theaters, art museums, punk bars and dance clubs.
