Late last month TRL announced a shocking multimillion $ deficit in the budget. The Board of Trustees will be voting on staff cuts on 2/25. Bring your friends and learn how to support library staff.

We will be hosting a community forum 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟯-𝟱 𝗽𝗺 to discuss layoffs, the library’s budget, the views of union library workers, and how everyone in our community can help ensure libraries remain staffed and accessible to the public.

We will have easy actions you can take before the 2/25 Timberland Board of Trustees Zoom meeting, opportunities to meet your neighbors, a community art project, and pizza to share. See you there! 💚

The event will take place in downtown Olympia at Friendship Hall (220 Union Ave SE). Friendship Hall is ADA accessible and on Intercity Transit bus line 94.
