Death Cafe

Join us at the library for a Death Cafe to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.

The discussions are always interesting, often entertaining and surprisingly energizing and life-affirming! Facilitated by Glenn Harper, an end of life caregiver by profession with an abiding interest and curiosity in philosophy, religion and the Great Mystery we all must face.
