Average Pace: 16-18 mph. Note this is an average at pace and at times will be higher.

These rides are intended for experienced cyclists or those with the fitness to keep up the group's pace. All are welcome but if you cannot maintain at or near the 16-18 mph average then the group may not wait for you. Note that, at times, the pace is significantly HIGHER than the estimated average.

Group ride reminders:
~Helmets are mandatory.
~Follow all traffic laws. No running red lights.
~Don't cross yellow line or Jean will yell at you.
~Call out and point out obstacles and debris on the road or Ron will yell at you.
~Pass riders on left, do not pass on right.
~Familiarize yourself with route before ride or have it downloaded, especially if you want to take a turn out front.
~This is a GROUP ride, but there will be limited regroups. Typical regroups are at turns and after busy intersections.
~Is pork still the other white meat?
~Safety First! Don't do stupid stuff that could endanger yourself or anyone else or enrage drivers!
~We random drug test. You have been notified.
~If you are new to group riding, Google "group ride etiquette" or similar to familiarize yourself with group ride do's and don'ts. Knowledge of group riding dynamics is required for a safe and enjoyable experience. Don't be afraid to ask questions of more experienced riders.
