Well bloody hell, April’s Open Mic was a belter!

Big shout out to all the brave souls who took to the stage – especially Julian, who brought a saw and a set of spoons and somehow turned them into a musical act rather than a kitchen-based hostage situation. The man’s either a genius or a lunatic. Possibly both.

And let’s raise a (slightly sticky) pint glass to Steve, who chose to celebrate his 35th birthday with us in style – surrounded by dodgy chords, dodgier singing, and a whole load of cakes

Massive congratulations to Tindall from Forgotten Gems, who not only smashed his set but also managed to find a partner in crime who can handle his dodgy jokes.

So! May’s Open Mic is now locked in: Wednesday 21st May, 7.30pm to 10.30pm. If you’ve got a tune in your heart, a poem in your soul, or just fancy making some noise and seeing what happens – we want YOU.
