Festival Oldham returns - and it's bigger and bolder than ever!
Join us for a vibrant celebration of outdoor arts right in the heart of Oldham. Each year this exciting free festival showcases the very best local, regional and national street theatre, music, dance and visual arts across a variety of spaces in the town centre and 2025 promises an unforgettable day packed over 60 performances and activities.
This year’s theme is Global Threads so prepare to experience a dazzling fusion of music, dance, fashion and art inspired by cultures from across the globe.
Expect colourful performances, interactive activities, and eye-popping spectacles that will inspire and delight all ages.
Plus, this year the event will include Oldham Music Service’s Summer Music Festival the annual outdoor celebration of local musical talent.
Oldham Music Centre’s Summer Music Festival 2025
30 music groups performing throughout the day at venues including the Festival Oldham Main stage at the Old Town Hall on Yorkshire Street, the historic Oldham Parish Church and Billingtons, there’s something for every music lover, from classical and brass bands to pop, rock, choirs, and musical theatre hits.
Performances run non-stop all day, often more than one at a time!
