JOHN BROWN is a Connecticut based singer-songwriter, performing his original music as well as country/rock covers at numerous venues since 2015. A blend of Country, Rock, and Americana best describes his heartfelt and sometimes raw lyrics, heavily influenced by Kris Kristofferson, Springsteen, Waylon, and Cash, with a healthy dose of John Prine's Americana flavor. John's original music, his Songs Of Life, draws from a lifetime of human experiences including the healing power and joy of music, love, and free-spirit -- as well as the seamier sides of life: addiction and recovery. John performs his songs solo as well as with his duo Whiskey and Aspirin, the Back Porch Pickers Band, and Leif Nilsson's Arrowhead Band.
LEIGH HARRISON is an award-winning songwriter and poet who's performed in CT, NY, PA, OR, FL, Canada (Toronto & Ottawa) and London, England. She's been a vocalist, guitarist, backup singer or percussionist with numerous blues, country & rock bands, including CT groups Bokum Road and Hot Strings Cafe. She's published four poetry collections, and writes songs in the blues, country, rock, folk, jazz, and rockabilly genres. Her music CDs, released by SongCrew Music include “Eclectic Chanteuse” and “Oh, Wow!” Leigh's performed with Jaco Pastorius, sung with Janis Joplin, jammed with Johnny Winter, and backed up various CT performers (including Clayton Allen and Dan Stevens). Her BlueBird duo with Bob Perfetto released two CDs (BlueBird at My Window and Jazz Hands), and performs around the CT shoreline area. BlueBird was invited to perform at the 2025 South Florida Folk Festival.
BOB PERFETTO (aka “Bobby Perfect” aka “Slim Junior”) is a lifelong guitarist, bassist, and composer of instrumental music. He's an accomplished Rhythm & Blues, Country, and Rock and Roll stylist. His influences range from 60s rock 'n' roll to classic country and blues, as well as classical guitar. He's performed in the US and in England, in bands where he played guitar and/or bass. Bob has three CDs on the SongCrew label: "Light Blue" (favorite cover songs),"Shackles" (Bob's instrumental compositions), and most recently, "Slim Junior's Christmas" (a collection of Christmas favorites.) He's currently playing guitar with the Back Porch Pickers, Smokey O's Band, the duo BlueBird (with Leigh Harrison), and Clayton Allen. Bob also enjoys producing the music of his friends, including Leigh Harrison and John Brown.
