The 2026 Winter Carnival, hosted by McCauley Mountain, is bringing back all of your favorite winter traditions just the way you like them. From torchlight skiing, the crowning of a new King and Queen, the iconic ice castle, fireworks, and cardboard sled races, to delicious food and drinks, live music, and a full weekend of skiing at McCauley Mountain, this year’s carnival is packed with hometown fun.
And the theme this year? The Winter Olympics, of course! ❄️
Spend the whole weekend dressed as your favorite Olympians—think red, white, and blue, or represent any country you’d like. Bring on the Olympic rings, Olympic torch, and all the team spirit. We want to see you go all out in honor of our hometown Olympians.
After all, McCauley Mountain raises Olympians, and our little racers look up to them, dreaming that one day it could be them flying down the mountain. This Winter Carnival is all about celebrating that spirit community, tradition, and big dreams.
