Dog Training Class DOTC Thursday PM

For dogs 12 weeks and older with all their required puppy shots, this is the foundation class for all obedience and investment in having a well-behaved pet for the rest of its life. It covers walking on a leash without pulling, coming to you when called, staying when told to sit or down, learning not to bark at other people, allowing a stranger to touch and pet without jumping up on them, and learning to pay attention in a class situation.

You come with your dog each week and learn to train your dog. Classes last 60 minutes each. You will have homework/practice to do during the week.
Once you start a class, there are no refunds.
Classes fill quickly and on a first come, first-served basis.

Bring whatever leash you have for your dog and any collar you may own that fits. We do not carry choke collars, chain leashes, or retractable leashes, but we carry collars suitable for any dog. Bring lots of pea-sized soft treats. Chicken, hot dogs, cheese, Cheerios, or soft dog treats cut into small pieces work well. You can arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Please do not feed your dog at least two hours before class. Restrooms are available.
