✨ Join us for a night of rhythm, music, connection and community under the stars! ✨
WHY is this the LAST? Your host Shawn O Hurley is moving away from Montrose May 31st. Hopefully there will be enough interest to keep our group going moving forward.
So, if you have been thinking about attending, this is your night!
Whether you're a drumming pro or just love good vibes around a crackling bonfire...come join us
bring your own instruments, or borrow one of ours – we've got extra drums, hand percussion, etc to share
No experience? No worries!
This is a beginner-friendly, all-are-welcome, bring-your-energy kind of event. Dancers, singers, and anyone with acoustic instruments (guitar, mandolin, flutes, handpan, bowls – you name it!) are encouraged to come jam.
What to bring:
🪑 Folding chair (we have a few, but they’ll go fast!)
Your singing voice
🥁 Your drum or instrument
🔥 Marshmallows, pizza, snacks, or something tasty to share (optional but always appreciated!)
👯 A friend or two – the more, the merrier!
Rain or Shine! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ve got a large covered patio, so the drumming fun will still go on! 🎶☔
yes, the event name includes Montrose, but our actual gathering will occur in Olathe, see directions below.
A couple of requests:
🚫 This isn't a late-night camping party, so no alcohol in the circle, please.
🐾 As much as we love pets, this one is for the humans; no dogs, ferrets, lizards etc please.
DONT FORGET TO GIVE A BIG HUG to your hosts Jerra Grett and Scott Campbell, we would not be gathering like this ... without them! ❤️

How to find us:
From HWY 50 at the stoplight near Olathe, turn East onto David Rd (County Road 789). Follow it for 1 mile, then take the first left onto CR 6000. After about another 1 mile, look for the big cluster of trees on the right. Pass the first house, then turn right into the driveway of the second house. Park anywhere that’s not blocking the road or driveway...be courteous.
