This year's theme is: Bring the Party to the Streets!

Help us celebrate our community's big win at the 2025 Canadian Event Awards! Light Up Okotoks took home Best Event for a City or Municipality! This incredible recognition belongs to our entire community — your spirit, energy, and support helped put Okotoks on the national stage!

Now, we’re keeping the celebration going with the Okotoks Parade — and we want you to be part of the winter fun in the sun!

We are turning the downtown into a festival of colour, creativity, and community spirit. We’d love to see floats, local businesses, community groups, dance troupes, sports teams, service clubs, musicians, and anyone else ready to show off their Okotoks pride. Whether you’re walking, dancing, rolling, riding or just watching, bring your Light Up Okotoks charm and sunny smiles to the streets!

The route is changing this year due to construction for the ongoing downtown improvement, so please check out the 2025 Parade Map. As a result, we have a smaller capacity for entries and will prioritize local businesses and groups.
