� Mvskoke 4-H: Ocmulgee Club Meeting — October 7 �
Join us for our next club meeting on Tuesday, October 7 at 6:00 PM at the College of the Muscogee Nation, Natural Resources & Cultural Arts Building, Room 103. At this meeting we will be focusing on the Muscogee pumpkin and its importance in history, agriculture, and culture.
Here’s what’s planned:
� Pumpkin Game – Can you spot the Muscogee pumpkin?
� Cultural Connection – Learn about pumpkins in Muscogee heritage and the Three Sisters.
� Seeds Then & Now – Explore heirloom Muscogee seeds compared with modern varieties.
� Paint Your Own Pumpkin – Decorate a pumpkin to take home.
We’ll also have pumpkin pie and possibly roasted pumpkin seeds as a snack. The meeting is open to all youth K–12, whether or not you are currently enrolled in 4-H. Parents are welcome to attend and learn more about opportunities to get involved.
