Luke Bulla has been immersed in music his entire life. He began touring and singing with his family band at the age of four and picked up the fiddle by seven. By age sixteen, Luke had already made history—winning the National Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho, six times in his age categories, and becoming the youngest ever Grand Champion at sixteen. At just ten years old, he was also the youngest finalist in Nashville’s prestigious Grand Master Fiddle Championship.
A multi-instrumentalist, Luke plays violin, guitar, and mandolin, and is also a talented vocalist and songwriter. His 2009 solo EP featured legendary collaborators like Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Béla Fleck, and Aoife O'Donovan. That same year, he was invited to join Lyle Lovett’s Large Band, and he now tours regularly in all of Lovett’s configurations.
Jared Tyler, a Tulsa-born musician, has built an impressive career both as a collaborator and solo artist. He’s been the longtime Dobro player for Malcolm Holcombe since 1999, and has performed with icons such as Emmylou Harris, John Moreland, John Fulbright, and Jimmy LaFave.
Jared made his national debut in 2006 with Blue Alleluia (produced by Russ Titelman), followed by Here With You in 2010, co-produced with Chuck Zwicky. His style blends soulful Americana with heartfelt songwriting, making him a perfect complement to Bulla’s world-class musicianship.
