Saturday, August 2, 2025, American Banjo Museum presents the youth event: Lucas Ross’ BANJO FARM. The day will feature music/comedy concerts by Ross (Outreach & Promotion), an instrument playground, sponsored by the Opry Heritage Foundation of Oklahoma, banjo workshops, banjo crafts and fun for the whole family!
“I love that we are able to host this form of outreach,” says Lucas, “I believe when kids are excited about music, new doors open.” The Oklahoma Opry returns with their ‘instrument playground,’ allowing kids to try out a variety of instrument. “One of the greatest gifts I was given was being handed an instrument. I love that there is a day dedicated to that here at our museum,” added Lucas.
Banjo Farm runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 2. Admission is free for kids 15 and under, and half price for adults.
The event is made possible through sponsors: KFOR-TV, Metro Family Magazine, and the Oklahoma Opry Heritage Foundation of Oklahoma.
