Pride: an OKC StorySLAM

Join us for our annual Pride story slam! We create a space to celebrate and honor the stories of our LGBTQIA2+ community every June.

The OKC StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling event. Participants are invited to tell a story in seven minutes or less, relating to the theme for each event.

Our June theme is "Pride." Stories must be true (or as best remembered by the storyteller) and told without the use of notes.
All participating storytellers can sign up to tell their story at the beginning of the evening. Prizes will be awarded to the best stories of the evening.

This storyslam will take place at Church of the Open Arms, located at 3131 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

This OKC StorySLAM is part of our 2025 tour of storyslams around OKC, celebrating 20 years of the OKC StorySLAM
