About the event

The Great Divide

The Meridian Township Fire Department will participate in the annual Great Divide competition against East Lansing Fire Department at Home Depot (1749 Newman Road, Okemos) on Friday, October 24. Each year, this friendly contest challenges each department to see who can cut a car in half the fastest.

This year’s event will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with car-cutting beginning at 1:00 pm.

Home Depot will provide free hot dogs and water!
