When Waves Return

In honor of Great Salt Lake, we will walk the waves through Kellie Bornhoft and Carey Campbell's installation, "This was water" that features sculptures inspired by the lake’s selenite crystals at the Dumke Arts Plaza in downtown Ogden.

Help us demonstrate love for the lake’s waters, crystals, and creatures on Saturday, July 19 at the Dumke Arts Plaza located at 445 25th St. in Ogden. All events are free to attend, everyone is invited!

🕓 SCHEDULE:
7:30 a.m. - Gather in preparation at Dumke Arts Plaza.
8 a.m. - The walk begins. Route is ADA accessible.
10-11 a.m. - Poetry and dance performance in honor of Great Salt Lake. Featuring Darren Parry, Sunni Brown Wilkinson, Patrick Ramsay, Sophia Cutubrus, and Utah’s Poet Laureate, Lisa Bickmore. Nan Seymour will serve as emcee. ASL interpretation provided by Drake Heap.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Sign up at https://www.makingwavesartistcollaborative.org/events-1 to volunteer as a wave walker, a wave leader, or a docent!
