Join us as we share a cup of ceremonial cacao around a fire made sacred by our offerings. We will honor the Winter Solstice and welcome the return of the sun. Each participant will receive their personal Nahaules, the energies guiding you in your life's journey, and learn about the energy of the day according to the Mayan Choq'ij calendar.
Last month, Mira Mi and I had the privilege of traveling to Guatemala to study the path of Cacao with our teacher Nana Mimi, a fourth generation Mayan medicine woman with a deep calling to share the wisdom of the Grandmother spirit, I'x Cacao. We were initiated as medicine women in the path of cacao in the Navichoc Tzutujil lineage. We are so honored to be able to share this precious cacao with you.
We will be sitting with Ki'Kotemaal Cacao, grown in Chicacao, Guatemala. Every bean carries a connection to the ancestors. Every bean has been roasted, peeled, and made into medicine by hand. Every bean is infused with songs and prayers of gratitude. This makes for a very joyful connection.
