Chupacabra night trail running event 8 mile/25k

Imperial Valley Running Events brings to you the Chupacabra 25K/8 mile night trail running event. Event will start at Interstate 8 and Dunaway Road in Ocotillo Ca. Event traverses the Yuha desert in the Imperial Valley. Start will stage right off interstate 8 South side of freeway on Dunaway Road. This is a night run so lighting is mandatory. Hydration devices are highly recommended. Course is a an out and back route with two aid stations at mile 8 and 16. 4 1/2 hour time limit so walkers/hikers have plenty of time to experience the desert at night. Course will be clearly marked and easy to follow with reflective tape and lighted markers. Late sighn ups at 6:30pm and race starts at 7:00pm. Directions from Yuma and San Diego: interstate 8 to Dunaway Road exit South side of freeway (you will be able to see Plaster City to your North.
