It tends to get a bit toasty at this location, so we're going to turn it around and do a slightly different route and head to the RIGHT when we enter the San Luis Rey Trail instead. This way offers us a little more shade than the usual way. 😁
We meet in the parking lot nearest the playgrounds/big bathrooms/circle.
After, we meet at the playground for kid play time and groundwork/chitchat time for us!
DIRECTIONS:
-From I-5: Take 76 East, turn left on to college Blvd, turn left into Mance Buchanon Park
-From Mainside: Take Vandergrift out the gate, turn left onto college Blvd, turn right into Mance Buchanon Park
STANDARD WORKOUT DETAILS:
* 9:30 am is game time! Please RSVP and arrive early enough to be prepped and ready to go at 9:30!
*Don’t forget water (extra is always good), snacks, sunscreen, towel, and watch
*Always check the event invitation before you leave your home to ensure there is not a last minute cancellation or location change.
*You are welcome to bring friends, family, older children on bicycles, and spouses to workouts.
*Please remember trail etiquette, if running two wide be ready to fall back for other trail users. Communicate with those warriors in front of you.
*If you or your kids are sick please stay home

Run Route:
Head out of the parking lot towards the entrance.
There is a small parking lot on the left, turn in there.
The Trail head is on the left; follow that up and turn RIGHT on the Trail.
When the trail dumps into a neighborhood, continue LEFT until you reach where the trail resumes.
Turn around and retrace your steps when you get halfway.
*Please be aware of others using the trail and make sure to announce when passing “on your left” *
