Join us this Fall for a 4-part biblical lecture series with Mike Wickham as we prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus.
Week 1- Advent Focus: We’ll explore the rich meaning of Scripture: Isaiah’s prophecy of a Savior for all nations—and why even the ox and donkey seemed better prepared to meet the Messiah than the people of Israel.
Week 2- Advent Focus: Matthew’s Gospel account of who Jesus truly was, God’s kingdom foretold, and the mystery of His birth.
Week 3- Christmas Focus: The real story of the Nativity—was Jesus born in a stable or a cave? Why was He laid in a manger? We’ll also uncover timeless questions and traditions: Were the shepherds and Magi really present together in the nativity scene—or years apart?
Week 4- Christmas Focus: Christmas is more than beautiful holiday carols, hot cocoa, snowmen and reindeer. There is meaning behind the Christmas tree and many other beloved symbols. Come, reflect, and rediscover or the astonishing Christmas reality of God with us.
