About the event

The Great OC Lagoon Race
The 6th annual Great OC Lagoon Race will take place on Saturday, August 9th! Race will start in the Venetian Lagoon this year and do a loop around the 17th street island. Starting point is at the 18th street bulkhead. You can launch at the 16th and 18th street bulkheads.
Two events: Paddleboard at 11 am and Kayak race at 11:30. Singles and doubles are permitted.
NO RACING BOARDS permitted for paddleboard race. Let’s make it the biggest turn out yet!
All are welcome to join in on the festivities…Spectators can watch from the 17th st bridge. Some prizes and trophy’s for the winners. If you own a local business and would like to sponsor the event and get a shout out on the OC groups (50k+ members!), please DM me.
Photographers and drone friends are encouraged to stop by.
