2025 CHESAPEAKE ASSOCIATED PRESS BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION CONVENTION

Registration is open for the annual event honoring outstanding broadcast journalism in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. This year's convention will be held June 6-8 at the Ashore Resort & Beach Club in Ocean City, Md.

Activities kick off Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a Crab Feast and Auction at Hooper's Crab House to benefit the Bob Shilling Memorial Scholarship, followed by Saturday’s 9:00 a.m. business meeting and Seminar on "AI in the Newsroom."

Then there's the Awards Reception & Banquet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night, breakfast on Sunday, and of course, the BEACH throughout the weekend!

The deadline to purchase tickets is 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 26. The best ticket value is the Full Convention price. This includes the Crab Feast & Auction, Saturday Breakfast & Seminar, Awards Reception & Banquet and Sunday Breakfast.

The Ashore Resort & Beach Club is offering a special group rate of $219 per night -- Friday (6/6) and Saturday (6/8). The deadline to reserve your room is May 9, but don't wait until then to book!
