🏅And so…it’s time to wind down western, with a splash of ranch! Due to popular request, we have added a small ranch division to our western show on Saturday, August 9th. We start promptly at 8am, gates are open at 7am! As always, the church gentlemen will provide breakfast, coffee, and lots of cold drinks.
🥇Trail will be run under the trees as an open card between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. This way we can keep the main ring and the trail ring moving together and finish at our ideal noon time before it’s too hot. 😎
🥈Patterns will be posted soon, no later than August 1. Feel free to print off this handy show bill and use it as your entry form to submit on show morning.
🥉Attire will be again “summer casual“ which includes polo shirts and short sleeved collared shirts. We follow level 1 AQHA rules regarding bits and tack, therefore any age horse may be ridden in a legal snaffle with two hands on split reins. All shanked bits must be ridden one handed with split or rommel reins.
🏆Save the date and plan to wind down with us in August. This is the final show of our “discipline specific educational summer series”. We return to our regular show bill on Saturday September 12 through our final show of the year in November.
