Ocala Pint Night- Presented by onX Hunt

Get together with the Florida Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers on Wednesday, May 21st at Infinite Ale Works in Ocala for a "Science, Not Emotions" Pint Night- Nationally Presented by onX Hunt. FWC is considering opening a bear season in 2025. FL BHA is in full support of a managed bear hunt that is backed by scientific research and has the public support. Join members, chapter leaders, and the public after Day 1 of the May FWC Commission Meeting to discuss conservation issues in Florida over a couple cold ones!

BHA Pint Nights are free and open to all. AND, thanks to our friends at onX Hunt – the first 15 attendees who sign up or renew a BHA membership at this event will receive a one-year Premium One State Membership to onX at no cost!

We hope pint night attendees will also consider attending the commission meeting on May 21st and 22nd at the College of Central Florida. Please plan to attend on Day 1. You will have an opportunity to voice your support of the proposed 2025 Bear Hunt, which the commission will be making decisions on in May 2025. You can read our Full Report and Take Action Here.

During this meeting, the commission will be voting on the Florida Black Bear Hunt, and we need everyone to stand up and let the commission know that we support the proposed hunt because we support science-based management.
